Jeff is confined to a wheelchair with a broke leg. He spends his time to looking out of rear window to observing the neighbours.
The entire story takes place at Jeff's rear apartment, and all event being seen through his eyes.
Finally, Jeff believes the man opposite has murdered his wife. Jeff sends his girlfriend Lisa and his nurse Stella to investigate.
This is typical Alfred Hitchcock work, easy to understand, addictively interesting, and featuring great stars.
